2-1-1. Tightening Torque

When tightening screws used in this unit, be sure to use a torque driver and tighten screws to the specified
tightening torque.
If the specified tightening torque is described in the text in this section, tighten screws to the specified
tightening torque in the text.
M1.4: 0.08 ±0.02 N·m
M1.7: 0.12 ±0.02 N·m (Main unit, grip section, handle section (except the grip mount of the main
unit))
M1.7: 0.14 ±0.02 N·m (Panel (VF), charger section)
M1.7: 0.18 ±0.02 N·m (VF base cover, handle grip, grip mount of the main unit)
M1.7: 0.20 ±0.02 N·m (MI shoe)
TP1.7: 0.12 ±0.02 N·m (Lens lock button)
M2:
0.18 ±0.02 N·m
M2.6: 0.53 ±0.07 N·m
Nut:
1.00 ±0.10 N·m (FU-1001 board)
Nut:
0.25 ±0.03 N·m (HP-1015 board)
Nut:
1.40 ±0.20 N·m (SDI-1004 board)
Tip
When using the torque driver with the notation of cN·m, interpret it as follows.
Example: 0.8 N·m = 80 cN·m

2-1-2. Arrows on Plates and Boards

For plates or boards required to be fastened together, an arrow is indicated or stamped near the screw hole
that should be installed first.
