5-1. MANUAL OPERATION
Auto/Manual Focus

Zoom, focus, iris of the ITS-ME, ITS-RE type lenses are designed for remote control operation,
however manual operation is enabled by setting the selecting switches shown in the above picture to "M"
position. Turn each operation ring manually to operate the lens when necessary.

5-1-1. ZOOM OPERATION

Check before operating manually
Before performing manual operation of remote control lenses, be
sure to set the Auto/Manual selecting switch to "M" position.
If manual operation is forcibly performed with "A" position, the lens
may result in damages.

For customers who purchased ITS-RE type lenses

Set the Auto/Manual selecting switch at the front
of the lens drive unit to "M" position.

Turn the zoom ring (itself or with the zoom lever).
As viewed from the camera side
Clockwise
Counterclockwise : to zoom in (to telephoto)
CAUTION
The zoom operation selecting switch must
be set to the "M" position before performing
manual zoom operations.
The lens may be damaged if manual zoom
operations are forcibly performed with the
knob at the "A" position.
