Description of Function Codes
Acceleration time indicates the time required by the AC drive to accelerate from 0 Hz to
"Acceleration/Deceleration base frequency" (P0-25), that is, t1 in Figure 5-1.
Deceleration time indicates the time required by the AC drive to decelerate from
"Acceleration/Deceleration base frequency" (P0-25) to 0 Hz, that is, t2 in Figure 5-1.

The PE6000 provides totally four groups of acceleration/deceleration time for selection. You
can perform switchover by using a DI terminal.
Group 1: P0-17, P0-18
Group 2: P8-03, P8-04
Group 3: P8-05, P8-06

To satisfy requirements of different applications, the PE6000 provides three acceleration/
deceleration time units, 1s, 0.1s and 0.01s.
Modifying this parameter will make the displayed decimal places change and corresponding
acceleration/deceleration time also change.
