ABOUT THE REPAIRING OF BOARD
When boards installed by this unit are defective, replace the entire
board. Individual electrical parts that the mount is done cannot be
exchanged.
Moreover, the EMMC board cannot exchange with single.
When exchange the EMMC board, exchange it at the same time as
the MOTHER board.
The MOTHER board can be exchange alone.

SERVICING NOTES

NOTE THE BOARDS REPLACING
When each boards are replaced, the data writing processing etc.
are necessary.
Confi rm details to the service headquarters.
ABOUT PAIRING (NWZ-S763BT/S764BT)
When the following work are executed, it is necessary to do the
pairing of "WALKMAN" and wireless stereo headphones (MDR-
NWBT10).
• Exchange of boards on "WALKMAN"
• Exchange of wireless stereo headphones (MDR-NWBT10)
• Initialization of "WALKMAN" setting
Execute the pairing referring to the following.

Bluetooth connecting
Place your "WALKMAN" and the supplied Bluetooth
Headphones within 1 metre of each other.
Press and hold the
Bluetooth Headphones for
approximately 2 seconds until the
indicator starts to blink.
Press any button to turn your "WALKMAN" on. If
appears on the top of the screen, slide the HOLD switch.
A "WALKMAN" screen message informs you that connection is automatically
established. It may take some time to connect with the supplied Bluetooth Headphones.
Wait for a while.
Hint
If connection fails, press and hold the OPTION/POWER OFF* button to
turn off your "WALKMAN" ("WALKMAN" screen displays [POWER
OFF]). Turn on your "WALKMAN" again, and re-establish Bluetooth
connection with the headphones.
*For "WALKMAN" NWZ-A series, press the HOME button instead.
