at the end of its useful life, the product
must be separated from household
waste and taken to a separate waste
collection centre for
equipment or returned to the retailer upon purchase
of an equivalent new device. The user is responsible
for taking the device to the appropriate collection
facility at the end of its useful life. Appropriate waste
collection allows for recycling, processing and
environmentally compatible disposal, thus helping to
avoid potential negative effects for the environmen-
