INSTALLING THE XFL5 HARDWARE MIGRATION ADAPTER
IMPORTANT NOTES
• Before starting the migration, refer to the notes (See step 3 of the "Removing XFL5xx I/O Modules from
XSL513/XSL514 terminal blocks" section on page 2) that indicate the location of each type of XFL5xx I/O module.
Select the precise XFL5 Hardware Migration Adapter and XF8xx/XFR8xx I/O module as described in Fig.1 and
Table 1.
• Migrating the XFL5xx LON I/O modules require additional space as after installing the XFL5 Hardware Migration
Adapter and XF8xx/XFR8xx Panel Bus I/O module, the height and width increases by 29mm and 15mm respec-
tively.

the XFL5xx I/O module and adjust the rotary dial on
the XFL5 Hardware Migration Adapter to set the
address.
