3.7.3 Magic Packet™ frame format
The format of the Magic Packet™ frame is illustrated below. The Magic Packet™ frame
must meet the basic requirements of the LAN being used, such as source address,
destination address (recipient's MAC address or multicast address including broadcast
address), and CRC. The data sequence in the Magic Packet™ frame is formed by
repeating the MAC address of the node 16 times. This sequence may be positioned at any
place in the packet as long as it is immediately preceded by the synchronization stream
defined as 6-byte 0xFF. If the MAC address of the node matches that of the target PC
subject to main power control, the PC also receives a broadcast frame.

< NOTE >
Possible error due to timing of Magic Packet™ frame transmission:
Implement proper measures so that the Magic Packet™ frame transmission always takes
place while the primary power of the Equipment is off. If the transmission of Magic
Packet™ frame takes place during actual turning off of the primary power after the
completion of OS shutdown process, the Equipment may restart without turning off the
primary power or become incapable of WOL.
