The following options are available Ratings Locks menu:
Block Unrated Shows –
1.
USA - TV –
2. This option allows blocking of selected TV or Cable channels based on ratings
established for US broadcasts. Select the desired rating and press MENU to block (lock) or
unblock (unlock).
TV Rating Definitions:
Y – All children
Y7 – Older children
G – General audience
PG – Guidance suggested
14 – Strongly cautioned
MA – Mature audience
USA - Movie –
3. This option allows blocking of movies based on ratings established by the
MPAA. Select the desired rating and press MENU to block (locked) or unblock (unlocked).
Movie Rating Definitions:
G
PG
PG-13 – Recommended for children 13 years of age or older
R
NC-17 – No one under 17 years of age
X
This option allows blocking of unrated content.
TV Rating Content Definitions
A – All subratings
D – Sexual dialog
L – Adult language
S – Sexual situations
V - Violence
FV – Fantasy violence
– General audience
– Parental guidance suggested
– Mature audience
– No one under 17 years of age
