TO ASSEMBLE THE RIGHT FRONT
HANGER
•
If your tractor is equipped with a side mounted
muffler and muffler guard, you must loosen the
upper Bolt and remove the lower Bolt, Nut and
Washer from the Muffler Guard. (See Fig 5)
•
Place three 3/8 x 1" Hex Bolts and three Nylock
Nuts on the right foot pad before starting to
assemble.
•
Install the Right Front Hanger between the Tractor
Frame and the Muffler Guard, with the clevis of the
hanger to the outside of the Tractor Frame,
•
Align the holes in the Right Front Hanger with the
holes in the Muffler Guard and the Tractor Frame.
•
Install three 3/8 x 1" Hex Bolts from inside the
Tractor Frame, thru the Muffler Guard, and Right
Front Hanger.
•
•
Secure with three 3/8 Nylock Nuts.
NOTE: On some tractor models the holes used to mount
the right and left front mounting brackets already have
a bolt in them. If your tractor is so equipped, simply
remove the shorter bolt and replace it with the 3/8 x 1"
bolt supplied with the snow thrower.

NOTE: You may need to drill two holes in the tractor
frame of pre 1995 tractors.
•
Place three 3/8 x 1" Hex Bolts and three Nylock
Nuts on the left foot pad before starting to
assemble. (See Fig .6)
•
Place the Left Front Hanger on the left side of the
Tractor Frame with the clevis to the outside of the
Tractor Frame.

Align one hole in the rear of the Left Front Hanger
with the hole in the Tractor Frame and secure with
~
one 3/8 x 1" Hex Bolt and one 3/8 Nylock Nut.
•
Tighten rear bolt and nut to secure bracket.
•
Center Punch and drill one hole.
•
Assemble a bolt and nut into the drilled hole to
secure the front of the bracket.
•
Center punch and drill second hole.
•
Assemble a bolt and nut into second hole to secure
bracket.

ASSEMBLE THE REAR MOUNTING
BRACKET
•
Remove two bolts, two flat washers and two nuts
from the rear of each Tractor Foot Pad. (See Fig 7)
•
Place the Rear mounting Bracket on the back side
of the tractor foot pads with the offset towards the
rear of the tractor.
•
Secure Rear Mounting Bracket to tractor Foot Pads
and Tractor Rear Fenders with four 3/8 x 1-1/4" Hex
Bolts and four Nylock Nuts.
