. ASSEMBLY
IDENTIFY YOUR TRACTOR ENGINE
STYLE
Your snow thrower has been designed to fit two
different style tractors:
Tractors equipped with a horizontal crank shaft
engine.
Tractors equipped with a vertical crank shaft
engine.
Look at this drawing to identify with which engine your
tractor is equipped. Use only instructions which pertain
to your tractor when the instructions are specifically for
one style or the other.
TO REMOVE UNIT FROM CARTON
UNPACK CARTON (See Fig. 1)
Remove inner pack from inside carton.
Remove
all
accessible loose parts and parts
box from carton.
Cut down all four comers of carton from top to
bottom and lay panels flat.
Check for any additional loose parts and remove.
CHECK CARTON CONTENTS
Check all loose parts, boxes, and bag contents
against carton contents and bag contents.
NOTE: Your snow thrower has been designed to fit two
different style tractors. There will be some parts that are
not used depending on which model tractor you mount
the snow thrower to. AJways follow the instructions in
your owner's manual for proper fit up.

WINTERIZE YOUR TRACTOR
Check and set tire pressure. (See Tractor Manual)
Change Tractor oil. (See Tractor Manual)
ENGINE LUBRICATION
Only use high quality detergent oil rated with API service
classification SG.
Select the oil's SAE Viscosity grade
according to your exoected operating temperature.

NOTE: Although multi-viscosity oils (5W30, 10W30, etc.)
improve starting in cold weather, these mUlti-viscosity oils
will result in Increased oil consumption when used above
CAUTION: Before starting to assemble

32° F. Check your engine oil level more frequently to
snow thrower to tractor, remove spark
avoid possible engine damage from running low on oil.
