In Dual Control Head mode your radio displays icons (
refer to CH1 or CH2. If no icon is displayed, the settings are common for both control heads.
*[RECH] — item visible for Remote Ethernet Control Head.
*[TSCH] — item visible for Telephone Style Control Head.

5.4 Messages

This feature allows you to send and receive text messages. A message can contain up to 1000 characters, depends
on your service provider setting.
When you receive a message that cannot be decrypted, your radio displays a notification entitled Incoming
SDS with the following information in its content:
• ISSI addres of the sender.
• Decryption Failed message.
• Encryption fail reason: Wrong Key, No Key, or SIM Error.
To close the notification, press the right SOFT key or the END key.
