HOT valve: close-clockwise, open-counterclockwise.

16 SECURING HANDLES
Be sure Valves and Levers are in the "OFF" position. Secure handles by
holding the Lever (16B) in place and tighten the Hubs (16A) by rotating them
in a clockwise direction. To remove handles, rotate Hubs (16A) in a
counterclockwise direction.

17 WATER SUPPLY CONNECTIONS
Connect water Supply Lines (17A) to Faucet Inlets (17B). (Supply lines and
fi ttings are not included.)

18 POP-UP ROD CONNECTION
Insert Lift Rod (18A) into hole at top of Spout Head (18B). Gently, slide Lift
Rod (18A) down the Spout Head (18B) hole.

19 POP-UP PREPARATION
Remove Flange (19A) and unscrew Nut (19C) from the Pop-Up Drain Body
(19B). Retain the Packing Ring (19D) inside the Ball Rod Opening (19E).
Take off the Spring Clip (19F) from the Ball Rod (
on the Ball Rod (19G). Remove Locknut (19H), Friction Washer (19J),
