Soy yoghurt
6 cups/1

litres regular or long-life soymilk drink

cup/85ml soy yoghurt

cup/50g soy drink powder

1. Heat the milk to below boiling point (80ºC) then
cool quickly to 40ºC. Use a sterilised kitchen
thermometer to monitor temperature of the milk
when heating and cooling.
2. Stir in yoghurt and powder until well combined.
Do not aerate.
3. Pour yoghurt mixture into yoghurt container and
lock the Yoghurt container lid into position. Place
the yoghurt container into the Yoghurt Creations
housing and cover with the outer lid.
4. Turn the Setting Dial to setting 5.The Yoghurt Creations
will switch on and start warming to incubate the mixture.
5. After approximately 4-5 hours, the Setting Dial will
have turned anti-clockwise to the OFF position and
switched the Yoghurt Creations off.
6. Remove the outer lid and yoghurt container. Remove
the yoghurt container lid and check the texture of
the yoghurt. Do not stir the yoghurt. If set to desired
thickness, switch the Yoghurt Creations off at the
power outlet and unplug, replace the yoghurt
container lid and place the yoghurt container into
the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
Soy yoghurt made with regular soy milk drink
will have a firmer texture and sweeter taste,
whilst long-life soy milk drink will have softer
texture with slightly tart taste.

Pre-packaged starter culture yoghurt
4 cups/1 litre room-temperature tap water
1 packet (approx. 150g) natural unsweetened
powdered starter yoghurt culture
1. Combine starter yoghurt culture and water, mix to
form a smooth, lump-free mixture. Do not aerate.
2. Pour mixture into yoghurt container and lock the
yoghurt container lid into position. Place the
yoghurt container into the Yoghurt Creations
housing and cover with the outer lid.
3. Turn the Setting Dial to setting 7.The Yoghurt Creations
will switch on and start warming to incubate the mixture.
4. After approxiamately 6-7 hours, the Setting Dial
will have turned anti-clockwise to the OFF position
and switched the Yoghurt Creations off.
5. Allow the yoghurt container to remain in the
Yoghurt Creations for 12 hours until yoghurt sets
or if preferred place into the refrigerator for 8
hours or overnight.
Natural unsweetened powdered starter yoghurt
culture can be purchased from most supermarkets.
