  • Page 14 C D-LIGHT SYNC OUT jack Connect the D-LIGHT SYNC controller. You need to connect the D-LIGHT SYNC controller to a lighting device* (not supplied). The lighting device will react according to the control signals transmitted by the D-LIGHT SYNC controller upon receiving music source from the system.

    Using the iPod Insert the iPod Dock Adapter into the iPod 1 or 2 connector before use. For details on the supplied iPod Dock Adapters, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the iPod Dock Adapter. To remove the iPod Dock Adapter, pull it up with your fingernail or a flat object using the slot inside the adapter.

    When carrying the unit Do the following procedure to protect the disc mechanism. Use the buttons on the unit for the operation. Press "/1 to turn on the system. Press CD. Press A to open the disc tray and remove the disc. Press A again to close the disc tray.

    Transferring onto an USB device You can transfer music from a sound source to an optional USB device by connecting it to the (USB) port on the unit. The audio format transferred by this system is MP3. The approximate size of the transferring is about 1 MB per minute of transferring time (except MP3 disc).

    Other Operations Creating your own program — Program Play You can make a program of up to 25 steps in the order you want them to be played back. You can synchro transfer the programmed tracks or files onto an USB device (page 21).

    Ajusting the sound effect You can adjust the sound by raising or lowering the level of specific frequency band. Turn LOW jog to adjust the level of low frequency band. Turn MID jog to adjust the level of medium frequency band. Turn HIGH jog to adjust the level of high frequency band.

    Using the timer The system offers three timer functions. Sleep Timer You can set the system to turn off after a certain time, so that you can fall asleep to music. Press SLEEP on the remote repeatedly. The minute display (turn-off time) changes.
