Selecting automatic playback mode

You can set automatic playback mode on the disc before recording. In the
default setting ([No]), the disc is to start playback with displaying the menu
screen of the title recorded.

Display [AutoPlay?] by pressing FUNCTION/ENTER.
Each time you press the button, [Finalize?], [Erase All?], [Auto Play?], [Auto
Chp], or [PlayerType] appears in sequence.

Press SELECT to select [Yes] or [No].
When you select [Yes] (automatic playback mode is on), the disc starts
playback on a DVD player with the first title recorded.
When you select [No] (automatic playback mode is off), the disc starts
playback on a DVD player with displaying the menu screen of the titles
recorded.

Finalizing a Disc

You need to finalize DVD+R discs after recording to play them back on other
DVD devices. You cannot edit or record on them after finalizing.
You do not need to finalize DVD+RW discs. (DVD+RW discs are finalized
automatically after recording. You can edit or record on them even after
finalizing.)

Turn on the drive.
The busy indicator lights up in green.
