[2] Replacing Varistor and Fuse
Replacing Charging circuit is not required for the repair of Battery charger due to the breakage of Varistor and Fuse.
Sign of Varistor breakage
Cracks exists in the surface of varistor.
Charger is plugged in a power source of two times more than the continuous rating voltage of Varistor.
Note: If Fuse has burned out meanwhile Varistor is not broken, something else has probably problems.
In which case, replace Charger circuit.
Replacing Varistor/Fuse
Varistor/fuse is soldered on the charging circuit. (Fig. 5)
Remove a broken varistor/fuse with soldering iron. And solder brand-new one with soldering iron.

[3] Replacing Power Supply Cord
Put Power supply cord into Charger case cover as illustrated in Fig. 6.
