o These apertures must be positioned in such a way as not to be
obstructed.
o Indirect ventilation is also allowed by taking air from adjacent
rooms to the one to be ventilated and must comply with current
standards.
o If it is impossible to use a cooker hood, a fan should be installed
in a window or an external wall. The fan should be switched on
each time the appliance is used and must comply with all
relevant standards regarding ventilation.

Securing the appliance

o The cooker must be secured to the rear wall before it is operated
for the first time.
o Measure the distance between the bottom of the adjustable feet
to the bottom of the lip at the back of the hob top. The
measurement will be between 840 – 870 mm depending on the
height of the adjustable feet.
o Add 15 mm to this measurement and mark this height on the
wall which the cooker will be secured to.
