Information
The VE VVG electronic two-way valves control the flow of water or glycol solutions. The
electronic actuator requires a 24 Vac supply and receives a 0 to 10 Vdc control signal
to control the 7/32-inch (5.5 mm) nominal stroke valve.
·
Maintenance free actuator with reversible motor.
·
Selector plug on actuator permits selection of linear or equal percentage flow
characteristics.
·
Reduced seat diameter produces reduced C
·
0 to 10 Vdc or 0 to 1000 ohms signal input.
·
Position output signal 0 to 10 Vdc.
·
Available with union or sweat end connections (1/2-inch and 3/4-inch).
·
Double O-ring packing with Teflon® wiper.
·
Manual override knob with indication of stroke allows for repositioning of the valve
in power-off conditions (SQS65U only).
·
Spring return closes flow port in power-off condition (SQS65.5U only).
Use the VE VVG as a control and shutoff valve in small to medium HVAC installations
for hot water and chilled water applications. Use in closed circuits only.
NOTE:
This valve is not designed for steam applications. See valve body
specifications for details.

    Check valve operation. Thread plastic valve cap (Figure 1) onto top of valve. Turn it to adjust valve position. Stem Packing Figure 5. VVG Valve Construction.
