5 Troubleshooting Your Array

Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and
simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team.
Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the
safety instructions that came with the product.

Obtaining Technical Support and Customer Service

Dell's support service is available to answer your questions about PS-M4110 blade storage arrays.
Dell provides several online and telephone-based support and service options. Availability varies by country and
product, and some services might not be available in your area.

Express Service Tag Information

Each PS-M4110 blade storage array has an Express Service Tag number on a pull-out "luggage tag" labeled EST
near the front bottom edge of the array drawer. (See
Figure 2 on page
2.) Have the number available for
customer support when you contact us.

Obtaining Component Diagnostics

You can collect diagnostic information for the PS-M4110 through the EqualLogic Group Manager GUI or CLI,
and the Dell PowerEdge M1000e CMC GUI.
