Attaching the supplied SCSI cable clamp

Notes on the SCSI cabling
• Insert the connector into the socket firmly.
• The total length of the SCSI cabling used with a single-host computer
should be less than 3 meters (10 feet).
• The length of the SCSI cabling used with a single-host computer should
be less than 1 meter (3 feet 3 inches).
• If your SCSI cable is not equipped with ferrite filters, attach the supplied
ferrite filters near the connectors at both ends of the cable.

To attach the ferrite filters, release the lock of the ferrite filter with a
screwdriver or a similar tool, pass the cable through the ferrite filter and
lock the filter in place.
To secure the SCSI cabling, use the supplied SCSI cable clamp. Attach the
SCSI cable clamp to the rear panel of the scanner as follows:

Hook the SCSI cable clamp to the screws on the rear panel.

Tighten the screws.
