2-1. Log Acquisition

2-1-1. Service Log Acquisition

To acquire the service log of this unit, use a service log snapshot function in GUI of SMS.
(Refer the SMS manual for more details.)

2-1-2. Event Log and List

In this unit, the execution recording of operation is left as an event log fi le. Information during occurrence
of a warning or failure as well as events occurring in this unit is recorded in the event log fi le. The opera-
tion state of this unit can be checked in GUI of SMS. To acquire the previous event information, retrieve
an event log fi le using a "service log snapshot" function of SMS.
The "service log snapshot" function also gathers the debug log for a service support engineer as well as
the event log for a service engineer and compresses it as a zip fi le. This function expands only an event
log fi le below "./snapshot/mtm/log/mtlog" of the retrieved zip fi le. The contents of the event log fi le can
be checked using a text editor.
Refer to the Operation Manual of SMS GU for how to use the "service log snapshot" function.
