6.2.1 Clearing Document Jams

If a document jams while it is feeding through the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder),"DOCUMENT JAM "
appears on the display.

6.2.1.1 ADF Input Misfeed

1) Open the ADF top cover.
2) Pull the document gently to the right and out of the ADF.

3) Close the ADF top cover. Then load the documents
back into the ADF.
NOTE : To prevent document jams, use the document
glass for the thick, thin or mixed documents.
