Installing the Rear Cover on the Cisco ONS 15310-MA

You can place the rear cover with either of two offsets from the back plane. Assemble the

6.32x1.75 or the 6.32x3.25 hexagonal standoffs for using either offset option.

The 6.32x3.25 standoffs should be used when the DS-1 cable direction exchangers

(15310-MA-DS1-PLUG=) are assembled on one of the DS-1 receptacle connectors of the

Backplane Interface Connector (BIC) unit.
