1. Press and hold the required key for a few seconds. Your
MTP850 will display the number and dial it.
2. To hang up, press
If dialing via one-touch key is enabled, one-touch dial is disabled
(see page 25).
DTMF Overdial
If set up by your Service Provider, DTMF
allows you to communicate with an
automated answering device (for example,
the voice mail or answering machine) during
an on-going call.
While in an on-going call, press the DTMF
keys (0-9, *, #). When pressed, the DTMF key will sound a
tone and the entered digit will be displayed on the screen.
Recent Calls List
Select the number from the recent call list. See "Recent
Calls" on page 140.

on receiving a call

Answering a Phone or PABX Call

1. The MTP850 switches to the incoming Phone/PABX Call.
2. To answer the incoming call, press
programmed (except Home/End/On-Off key).
3. To end the call, press
If the called person or the infrastructure end the call, the Call
Ended message is displayed.
For call alert, see settings in the Vibrate menu option
(page 120) and the Tones menu option (page 125)
