PERFORMANCE CHECK (VIDEO AND AUDIO)
NO. ADJUSTING POINT PROCEDUER AND CONDITIONS

CONTRAST
i
Receive the E-5CH signal.
2 Select CONTRAST in the P mode.
3 Using the UP/DOWN keys, make sure the contrast
changes accordingly.

COLOUR
i
Receive the J-13CH signal.
2 Select COLOUR in the P mode.
3 Using the UP/DOWN keys, make sure the colour
changes accordingly. (At the MIN position, there
must be no color.)
3 BRIGHTNESS
i
Receive the E-5CH signal.
2 Select BRIGHT in the P mode.
3 Using the UP/DOWN keys, make sure the black
level changes accordingly.
4 TINT
i
Receive the J-13CH signal.
Forthis item, check
2 Select TINT in the P mode. the sub-screenstoo.
3 Using the UP key, make sure the tint changes to-
ward green. With the DOWN key, make sure it
changes toward red.

NORMAL
CD
In the PIS mode, press the NOR. key to make sure
the displayed content alone appears normal.
6 SHARPNESS

Receive the E-5CH signal.
2 Select SHARPNESS in the P mode.
3 Using the UP/DOWN keys, make sure the sharp-
ness changes accordingly.

CHANNEL SIGN
CD
Make sure all the channel (0 thru 99) signs appear
DISPLAY COLOUR green (with the AFT on).

TREBLE

Receive the E-5CH signal.
2 Select TREBLE in the S mode.
3 Using the UP/DOWN keys, make sure the treble
changes accordingly.
9 BASS
i
Receive the E-5CH signal. Keep the U-BASS off.
2 Select BASS in the S mode.
3 Using the UP/DOWN keys, make sure the bass
changes accordingly.
10 BALANCE
i
Receive the E-5CH signal.
2 Select BALANCE in the S mode.
3 Using the UP/DOWN keys, make sure the left-to-
right balance changes accordingly.
