To select the text mode
You can select from a variety of languages for
displaying the text information on a disc or an
USB device. Use buttons on the unit for the
operation.


Th e language list appears. Th e languages you
can select vary depending on the country or
region specifi cation.
Press / 

to select the language, and

then press ENTER
Notes on the display information
• Characters that cannot be displayed appear as "_".
• Th e information on the disc or USB device may not be
displayed correctly in the selected text mode.
• Th e following are not displayed:
– total playing time for a CD-DA disc depending on
the play mode.
– total playing time for an "ATRAC"/MP3 disc.
• Th e following are not displayed correctly:
– elapsed playing time of an "ATRAC" fi le or MP3 fi le
encoded using a VBR (variable bit rate).
– folder and fi le names that do not follow either the
ISO9660 Level 1, Level 2 or Joliet in the expansion
format.
• Th e following are displayed:
– ID3 tag information for "ATRAC" fi les and MP3 fi les
when ID3 version 1 and version 2 tags are used.
– up to 62 characters of ID3 tag information.
