Checking the total playing
time and titles (VIDEO CD/CD/
MP3)
Press DISPLAY on the remote repeatedly in
stop mode.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
x When a CD/MP3/VIDEO CD is in Normal
Play mode
Total playing time or total number of albums

t Clock display (for six
and tracks on the disc

For discs with MP3 audio tracks
Notes
• The total playing time is not displayed for a disc with
MP3 audio tracks.
• In the following case, elapsed playing time may not
be displayed accurately.
– when an MP3 audio track of VBR (variable bit
rate) is played.
– when fast forward or fast reverse is performed.
Viewing information
about the disc in the
on-screen display
You can check the current operating status and
disc information of VIDEO CDs, audio CDs or
MP3 during playback or in stop mode.
Depending on conditions, some items are
displayed and others are not.
Press ON SCREEN on the remote
repeatedly.
The remaining time of the disc or the elapsed
playing time of the track is displayed.
Album and track names are displayed for MP3
discs.
Note
The display information may differ depending on the
disc.
