Basic Call Handling Placing a Call Lift the handset, press a Line key, or press the key. Dial the number from the keypad and press the Dial key. Ending a Call Place the handset on its cradle or press the key. -

Advanced Call Handling The 6865i IP phone provides simple and convenient methods for transferring calls and establishing conference calls. Call Transferring Ensure you are on active call with the party you wish to transfer. Press the key. This places the current call on hold. -

Playing Messages and Recording Greetings Login to Subscriber Mode for the First Time and Record Your Name Press programmable key #1 (the top key on the left of your phone) or dial *99. When prompted, enter your 4- to 8-digit personal access code (provided by your administrator). - Page 7 Record Extended Absence Greeting (Vacation Mode) Press programmable key #1 (the top key on the left of your phone) or dial *99. When prompted, enter your 4- to 8-digit personal access code (provided by your administrator). From the main menu press 4 to manage your greetings. Press 3 for after hours and holiday greetings.
