Saving Configurations

Configurations can be saved to one of the following configuration files:
• Running Configuration — This is a temporary save. Before rebooting the
device, you must save this configuration to the Starting Configuration.
• Running and Starting Configuration — This is a permanent save that
persists across rebooting the device.
Saving to these files can be done in the containers that allow configuration of
the device, as shown below:
In addition, saving can be done from the Tools menu on the masthead as
described in Masthead
NOTE:
If you cancel a page or logout of the device without saving configuration
changes to the Starting Configuration, you will receive a message notifying you that
you have unsaved changes.
