3. To remove the thermocouple:
a) Remove the control panel (see page
4-2 for the procedure).
b) Unscrew the thermocouple connector
from the baso gas valve.

c) Remove the rear panel and the infrared
burner ignitor & thermocouple cover
(see steps 2c and 2d on page 4-4).
d) Push the thermocouple out of its hold-
ing clip.
e) Pull the sensor tube through the two
access holes at the rear of the unit, and
remove the thermocouple.
