5. Connect the battery converter cable (yellow
connection point on the BMM) to the Battery
converter terminal

The battery management system is connected. (The
DIAG interface remains free.)

6.13 Earthing connections overview

Ensure that the earthing cables are connected to all
external sheet metal parts. The following components
must be earthed:
Earthing between components
Main earthing:
– Housing to the X1 PE terminal in the AC
backup control line
– Looping the PE in the AC backup output
– PE in the AC grid
Left-hand side panel to the housing
Right-hand side panel to the housing
Front panel to the housing
Door channel to the housing
Housing to the shielding plate in the door
channel
– Feed the earthing cable from the rear
through the door channel
– Connect the earthing cable to the point
marked on the black shielding plate in
the door channel
Door channel to the door
Housing to the mounting plate (connector
block)
Device cover to the housing
Rear wall to the housing
