It has been designed to give you many years of reliable service and easy-to-use, push-button climate control.     RTHL3550 About your new thermostat Auto Changeover Auto Changeover is a feature used in climates System where both air conditioning and heating are used Auto Auto on the same day. When the system is set to Auto, the thermostat automatically selects heating or cooling depending on the indoor temperature.

    Operating Manual About your new thermostat Battery replacement Press down and pull to remove. Install fresh batteries immediately when the REPLACE BATTERY warning begins flashing. The warning flashes about two months before the batteries are depleted. Replace Battery Even if the warning does not appear, you should replace batteries once a year, or before leaving home for more than a month.

    Operating Manual In case of difficulty If you have difficulty with your thermostat, please try the following suggestions. Most problems can be corrected quickly and easily. • Make sure fresh AA alkaline batteries are correctly installed Display is blank (see page 12). Make sure heating and cooling temperatures are set to acceptable ranges: Temperature settings do not • Heat: 40° to 90°F (4.5° to 32°C).
