5-5-17. BLANK SEARCH (EXP-1 + 99H)

This searches for a recordable area (i.e., blank) on the concurrent recording media when a concurrent
recording destination is configured or on the internal HDD when a destination is not configured, and
COMPLETE is returned when an area is found. However, if the concurrent recording destination is
SERVER, COMPLETE is returned even though it is not a valid target. If not found, NOT TARGET is
returned.

5-5-18. SEARCH TO TARGET CTL (EXP-8 + 93H)

This searches for the specified position (specified by time, GOP units) and starts the PLAY PAUSE mode.
When the specified position is found, COMPLETE is returned. If it doesn't exist, NOT TARGET is
returned, and the previous status of operation continues. A 7-digit number is entered for CTL. High-order
digits having value 0 can be omitted. In the numerical input mode, a sign is always acceptable.
Ex) Position (time) is set to "0:12:34:12".

5-5-19. SEARCH TO TARGET TIME (EXP-2 + 90H)

This searches for the specified temporal position (until frame) of a specified title no., and starts the PLAY
PAUSE mode. If the specified position is found, COMPLETE is returned. If it doesn't exist, NOT TARGET
is returned.
When title = 0, the current title is used.
A 2-digit number and a 7-digit number are respectively entered for title and time, of which high-order digits
having value 0 can be omitted.
