Overview of the main window

1 SCAN MODE buttons
Starts the respective modes of scanning.
2 POWER button
Turns the receiver on and off.
3 Frequency display
When running scan: "SCANNING" flashes and the
detection mode is displayed.
At scan pause or in the Manual Mode: Frequency,
detection mode, frequency step (Programmable Scanning
only), preset channel number (Memory Scanning or Preset
tuning) and the frequency title (if named) are displayed.
4 SCAN START/STOP button
During scanning: Click to stop scanning.
In the Manual Mode: Click to go into the Scanning Mode.
The controller resumes the last performed mode of
scanning.
5 +/– buttons
During scanning: Click to change scanning direction (+ in
ascending order, – in descending order).
During scan pause: Click to resume scanning manually (+
in ascending order, – in descending order).
During Direct tuning: Click to change the frequency step
by step.
During Preset tuning or Intelligent Memory tuning: Click
to move to the next preset/memorized frequency.
6 Scanning indicator
Indicates the current scanning location in the scanning
target band.
7 Priority frequency display
Displays the priority frequency and the detection mode
when Priority Scanning is enabled.
8 PRIORITY button
Click to enable Priority Scanning. Click again to turn it off.
9 SKIP indicator
Lights up if the current frequency is a SKIP-frequency.
