Starting up the CD-ROM
frequency database
The database holds information for over 3 million station
frequencies nationwide.

Insert the supplied CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.

Select [Frequency Search] from the [Options] menu.

The dialog prompts you to "Select Frequency
Database".
Select the drive number of the CD-ROM drive from
the "look in:" pull-down menu.
Select the file name; spec_win.exe

Click [Open].

From the second time, just insert the CD-ROM in the CD-
ROM drive and select [Frequency Search] from the
[Options] menu.
You can tune the receiver using the database
For instructions on using the frequency database, refer to
[Help] on the database software.
You can also save the search results of the database in a
file on the PC (see "Saving database search results", page
28).
