Installing Internal Options

This chapter explains installation of internal options.

Attaching/Removing the Top Cover

When installing an I/O module and SCSI cable kit, remove this product's top cover. The procedure
for attaching/removing the top cover is as follows.
Removing the top cover

Turn off this product and all servers that are connected to this
product, and unplug the power cable.

Slide the top cover backward and lift up while sliding the lock
levers at the rear right and left to remove the cover from this
product.
