Displaying the information
Press STATUS.
Press STATUS again. The display changes each time that the button is pressed.
To exit the display, press STATUS.

3: Current programme position and station name are displayed.
DVB indicates that the station is digital.
4: Available recording time and recording mode: e.g. 0:50 SP shows 50 minutes in
SP mode.
5: Current date and time
6: Title number: Also shows the recording mode and the current playback time of the title.
7: Title number: Also shows the recording mode and the current recording time of the title.
The status information changes depending on the function, e.g. PLAY, REC or REC PLAY.
This DVD Recorder is a precision unit. Handle it carefully and do not expose it to vibrations
during recording. Otherwise there may be breaks or noises in the recordings.

MHEG-5
(Multimedia and Hypermedia Expert Group) is an ISO Standard for interactive applications
e.c. for digital TV. Typical examples of MHEG applications: electronic program guide,
homeshopping and enhanced teletext service.
Dolby Digital
Method of encoding digital signals. The signals are very much compressed in the process
to enable recordings of large volumes of data. Manufactured under license from Dolby
Laboratories. Dolby, Pro Logic and the double-D symbol are trademarks of Dolby
Laboratories.
MP3 or MPEG 1 Audio Layer 3 is a file compression format used for digital audio files.
It provides files of an extremely small size and may cause a consequential loss of quality.
MPEG Layer-3 audio decoding technology licensed from Fraunhofer IIS and Thomson
multimedia.
