    Connect to the camera wirelessly at home, or through the Internet when you are at work, so you can check on your infant no matter where you are. You can even take the DCS-820L with you when you travel with your baby. All you need is a mobile device to connect directly to the Wi-Fi Baby Camera.

It is very important that you follow the safety guidelines below: Strangulation Hazard: Keep the DCS-820L and any attached cords at least three feet out of reach of any children or babies.

Cloud LED A solid blue light indicates a connection to the mydlink server. Press and hold the recessed button with a paper clip for a minimum of 10 seconds to reset the Reset Button camera to the factory default settings.

    Wireless Installation Considerations This D-Link camera can connect to your wireless network from anywhere within the operating range of your wireless network. However, the number, thickness, and location of walls, ceilings, or other objects that the wireless signals must pass through may limit the range. Typical ranges vary depending on the types of materials and background RF (radio frequency) noise in your home or business.

    Tap Done to return to Live View Tap the Camera icon to take a snapshot in snapshot mode. The camera button changes to a round button when the DCS-820L is in recording mode. (A red button will replace the black button when the camera is recording video.)

    Playback of Event-Triggered Videos If you need additional memory for video recording, the DCS-820L has an integrated microSD card slot.     During the initial steps with the Setup Wizard, you configured the camera to connect to your home Wi-Fi network. If you want to take your camera with you, it's not a problem with the DCS-820L.* You can connect directly to your camera, which means there is no need for an Internet connection or a router.
  • Page 30 Note: When you finish using Direct Connect, press and hold the Direct Connect button on the bottom of the camera for at least five seconds to turn off Direct Connect mode. This will ensure that your mobile device will return to normal operation with Internet access, and you should have no problem connecting the DCS-820L to your Wi-Fi network when you return home.
