Making Settings in the Viewfinder Dial
Position
You can use camera buttons to make a variety of
settings when taking pictures with the viewfinder.
This section explains how to make these settings.

Adjusting the image quality

The PhotoPC 800 has four image quality settings.
Press the image
quality button on the camera to
cycle from one setting to another. You can see the
currently selected image quality setting on the display
panel or LCD monitor. You can always switch freely
between these settings and mix pictures of varying
quality in the camera. The memory card's image
capacity will vary accordingly.
Fine (default setting)
Super fine
HyPict
Standard
Standard
Images are captured at 640 × 480 pixels.
The camera holds approximately 120
pictures without audio recordings in
attached 8 MB Compact Flash memory
card, and the images are less detailed.
Fine
Images are captured in color at 1600 ×
1200 pixels. These pictures have
moderate detail, and approximately 24
pictures can be stored in the included 8
MB CompactFlash Card.
Super fine
Images are captured in color at 1600 x
1200 pixels. These pictures have great
detail, and approximately 12 pictures can
be stored in the included 8 MB
CompactFlash Card.
HyPict
Images are captured in color at 1984 ×
1488 pixels. These pictures have the
greatest detail, and approximately ten
pictures can be stored in the included 8
MB CompactFlash Card.
