Taking Pictures
Using the PhotoPC 800 to take pictures is similar to
using a traditional "point and shoot" camera. This
chapter explains how to take photos with the camera
and covers the following topics.

Getting Ready

This section helps you prepare to take pictures with
your PhotoPC 800. It includes information on your
camera's picture-taking range and explains how to
make image quality and flash control settings.
Note:
EPSON is not responsible for any images you may lose
while using our products and software. Make sure your
camera works normally before taking important pictures.

Your camera's picture-taking range

The camera should be at least 50 centimeters away
from the subject when composing a shot through the
viewfinder.
Close-up photos can be taken from as close as 15 to 50
centimeters to the subject using the macro feature. For
instructions on using this feature, see "Using the
macro setting to take close-ups" on page 2-12.
