Media Files and Formats
To play media, the digital entertainer must be connected to the network, and the
media server software must be running. The media files can be stored on any
computer on the network, or on a CD in the computer's CD drive. The media
player locates the media in your library folders.

The media server software is installed from the NETGEAR CD as described in
Chapter 1, "Installing Your Digital Entertainer".

DTS audio formats)

• SD and HD WMV9 (using WMA audio codec)
• AVI audio codec: MP3, AC3, PCM, WMA, Ogg
• MOV: 3ivX + MP3, 3ivX + PCM (3ivX converted from
supported MPEG-4 video codec using Dr. DivX II for MAC OS)
• MP4: MP4V + MP4A (AAC) (only support non-hinted MP4)
