In the Home screen, scroll down to open
your phonebook.

Scroll up to New Entry and press SELECT.

Phone Number is highlighted. Press SELECT.

Press CHANGE to enter each field, fill in
the details and when you have finished
press DONE.

send your first text message

In the Home screen, scroll right to
open Messages.

New Message is highlighted.
Press SELECT.

New Short Msg is highlighted.
Press SELECT.

The cursor will be flashing ready for
you to enter your message using
predictive text. With predictive text you
only need to press the key for a letter
once. So, for example, to write the word
orange you would press 6, 7, 2, 6, 4
and 3. You will see that the word does
not appear on screen immediately, don't
worry, that's how it works.
