•
PowerPC 603e (U24)
200MHz, 64-bit microcomputer
This is the main element in the printer board, and this controls most of the following programs of the printer function.
•
Double Finger (U25)
The Control Integrated Circuit for printer function.
Control of the bus interface, memory, DMA, timer function, and interruption.
•
Parallel Controller (U26)
This controls the communication with the computers connected in parallel.
This performs communication of print data and status signals in conformity to the IEEE-1284 compatible mode, Nibble
mode, and ECP mode.
•
RECTOR (U13)
This controls the compression and decompression of print data.
•
PLD (U3)
This controls PowerPC and Rector to PCI interface of print data.
•
PCI I/F Controller (U2)
This controls the communication to the copier AR-650.
It operates the communication of print data and status signals with PCI bus.
