    Epson recommends the use of genuine Epson ink bottles. Epson cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non- genuine ink. The use of non-genuine ink may cause damage that is not covered by Epson's warranties, and under certain circumstances, may cause erratic printer behavior.

    User's Guide Refilling Ink ❏ To ensure you receive premium print quality and to help protect your print head, a variable ink safety reserve remains in the ink tank when your printer indicates to refill ink. The yields quoted for you do not include this reserve.

However, this printer cannot generate notifications and stop operations before ink levels drop below the lower line.
