Starting Up the Set-Top Box

Over the next pages, you will discover how to connect and start up your set-top box.
1. For remote operation, see "Preparing the Remote Control" on page 14.

Installation Requirements

u
DVB-T signals are broadcast in your region.
u
You have an antenna, which is suitable for receiving DVB-T signals (e. g. internal
antenna, external antenna).
u
The antenna cable (coaxial cable) is as short as possible and the connectors are
attached permanently to the cable.
u
You are using a SCART cable for the connection between your set-top box and the
television or between your set-top box and a video recorder or DVD device.
u
The colour transmission technology of your television is based on the PAL television
standard.
