Hybrid mode
The "Hybrid" function is an add-on function of "Peak Shaving" mode and is only available in this
operating mode. Unlike "Peak Shaving" without "Hybrid", this makes it possible to start the
system without a precharged DC link. See "Black Start" (Page 23) mode for information about
starting the system. Once a DC link has been precharged, the behavior is the same as in "Peak
Shaving" mode. This makes it possible to connect a second infeed source later, for example. This
is not possible with the normal "Black Start", as only one infeed (SIMOCRANE ESSM) is
permissible during operation in this mode. The "Hybrid" function is a combination of the "Black
Start" and "Peak Shaving" modes.
