The SINAMICS DCPs are connected in parallel in the energy storage system to increase power.
Droop control makes parallel connection possible. The droop value determined by the energy
storage system [%] (p.54127) must be signaled to SIMOCRANE ESSM. This causes a voltage
correction to be applied which is dependent on the actual system power. This is necessary in
order to compensate for voltage fluctuations in the DC link due to operation in droop control.

Unwanted reactions in the control response
The droop value must be an exact match for the droop value determined by the system
(p.54127), as unwanted reactions in the control response are otherwise possible.

• 1 = "Manual"
• 2 = "Black Start"
• 3 = "Peak Shaving"
