Hazardous Substances Declaration of Electrical and
Electronic Products
1. Description of the marks for environmental protection service life
The mark for environmental protection service life is formulated in accordance with Measures
for the management of the restricted use of harmful substances in electrical and electronic
products and Marking for the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and
electronic product (SJ/T11364), and is applicable to the markings of electrical and electronic
products sold in China.
As long as the electrical and electronic products are used normally in accordance with the
safety and use instructions, the harmful substances contained in the products shall not leak
out or mutate, cause serious pollution to the environment or cause serious damage to the
person or property within marked years from the production date.
After the normal use of the product, please hand over the waste products that are within the
service life of environmental protection or have just reached the service life to the enterprise
with the qualification of recycling and disposal of waste electrical and electronic products.
In addition, this period is different from the warranty period of quality/function.
