Note: Alternatively, one of the two Line ports may be cabled to another
ETHER-1000 unit (cascading).
Note: The unit physically connected to this port must be set for the
same mode.
Framing
The ETHER-1000 unit can be configured for either SONET or SDH
mode.
For operation in a JungleMUX system, the SONET mode
should be selected.

TDM Pipe Setup

This section allows for provisioning of individual TDM pipes.
Topology
Allows the user to set the network topology in which the unit is
operating for the given TDM pipe. May be set for:
Ring

The Line port(s) are cabled to OC-48 JMUX unit CBW
port(s) in CBW-24 mode of operation. The maximum
bandwidth supported in this mode is 1.2 Gb/s (24 STS-1
SPEs) but the actual bandwidth used depends on the
number of slots assigned in the TDM Setup section
below.
Operation in a ring topology.
