2.Copier-specific Adjustments
 Procedures
The service technician must perform all adjustments.
(1) Select [05 ADJUSTMENT MODE]. Change the value for the code [3009] or [3011] to adjust the
reproducibility of the background when using the DF.
Color mode
Common for full color and black
for RADF / front side for DSDF
Common for full color and black
back side for DSDF
• The DSDF is available only for e-STUDIO2515AC/3015AC/3515AC/4515AC/5015AC.
• Set the value in increments of approximately 1, while checking the copy image until the optimum
value is obtained.
• Correlation of the background reproducibility (Setting value: [Light] 1 < 2 < 0 < 3 < 4 [Dark]):
Setting value
A lighter background is reproduced than the one obtained when the setting value

A darker background is reproduced than the one obtained when the setting value

"2" is set.
A darker background is reproduced than the one obtained when the setting value

"0" is set.
A darker background is reproduced than the one obtained when the setting value

After setting the value, copy and check the image quality.
If further image quality adjustment is necessary, go to the next step.
